Description
Browning’s X-Bolt builds on the proven successes of past Browning rifles, and adds numerous improvements. Its adjustable three-lever Feather Trigger system provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up. The barrel is free-floated by bedding the front and rear of the action for stability and to help maintain barrel to stock spacing for consistent accuracy. A recessed muzzle crown helps protect the rifling from damage. The bolt unlock button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety, while the 60 degree bolt lift is fast cycling and allows you to work the bolt quickly. The Target model features a drilled and tapped, steel receiver with a 20 MOA Picatinny rail; free-floating bull, gray stainless steel, fluted barrel with muzzle brake and 5/8-24 threads; McMillan A3-5 with adjustable comb, textured gripping surfaces and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. This model has a Urban Carbon Ambush camo finish on its stock and forend.
