The Strike Industries BSOPPRESSORUBK, also known as the Oppressor Universal, is a part of the versatile Oppressor family. This family can accommodate a variety of calibers including .223/5.56, .308/7.62, and 9mm. The Oppressor Universal is a powerful blast shield, compatible with almost all muzzle devices on the market that have a maximum outer diameter of 25.00mm (0.98).

Like the other members of the SI Oppressor family, the Oppressor U excels at redirecting blast and sound, all while maintaining the recoil reduction of muzzle devices. The Oppressor Universal is uniquely designed with a SI proprietary 3-lug quick detach base, enabling easy installation and removal with just a push and a slight turn.

Installation is straightforward. Firstly, mount the SI Oppressor Universal 3-lug QD base. Then, install the supplied appropriate sized crush washer and properly set the timing/alignment of your muzzle device. Once these steps are completed, you’re all set to use your Oppressor U.

As for construction, the Oppressor U boasts a solid steel core, surrounded by a 6061-T6 aluminum body, which is beautifully anodized for enhanced durability and visual appeal.
