This results in a cleaner, cooler-running firearm with reduced recoil and less wear on the bolt carrier group and upper receiver. The patented adjustment detent is externally located to prevent contamination, and the non-restrictive gas adjustment screw avoids erosion, seizing, or detent loss due to carbon buildup.
