Manufactured start-to-finish in their Cincinnati, OH facility under ISO 9001/9100 certifications, Faxon barrels are stress relieved, air-gage tested, and finished to tight tolerances. Crafted from certified 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel (this model) with QPQ nitride finishing, each barrel is inspected for headspace, magnetic-particle checked, and given an 11-degree target crown for long-lasting accuracy and reliability.
